MANILA, Philippines — The eastern section of Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms due to a frontal system affecting the area, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Friday.
A frontal system is a weather system wherein cold and warm winds merge in a particular area.
Meanwhile, Northern and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected throughout the rest of the country, it added.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over northern and eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and its coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough, Pagasa said.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, it also said.
