Korean Embassy closed 5 more days as another staffer contracts COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines — The Korean Embassy in Taguig City has announced that it will extend its temporary closure after another security guard tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a statement on Monday, the embassy said it will be closed from July 27 to July 31.

“The resumption of services by the Consular Office will still be subject to the test results of the Consular personnel,” the embassy said.

Previously, the embassy was closed from July 20 to July 22 after a security guard tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
