MANILA, Philippines — Less than a week after officials lifted the lockdown, a community in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City, will again be placed under “extreme localized community quarantine” (ELCQ) for two weeks after coronavirus cases remained high.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi signed on Monday Executive Order No. 30, imposing an ELCQ in Building 2 Filinvest Socialized Housing (FSH) complex from 12:01 p.m. today until 11:59 a.m., Aug. 11.

City health officer Dr. Teresa Tuliao said that as of July 26, FSH Building 2 had 14 active cases with three admitted to a hospital.
