RISING superflyweight prospect Marco Singwangcha of the RWS Gym of Cebu will stake his unbeaten record today against Rex Olisa of Manila in the 10-round main event of a card to be held at the Tuburan covered court in the municipality of Tuburan, northern Cebu.
Singwangcha (11W-0L-1D 9 KOs) and Olisa (7W-6L-1D 6KOs) both weighed in at 116 lb during the official weigh-in held yesterday afternoon at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Cebu office.
Fighting in the supporting main event are Noel Adelmita (114 lb) vs. Rex Tito Singwangcha (114 lb). Also scheduled to see action are Romnick Magos and Gerald Cortes who both weighed in at 111 lb, Marlou Sandoval (105.5 lb) vs. Bryan Muring (107 lb), Rajah Jim Tanawon (130 lb) vs. Sehayahei Llanera (131 lb) and Jason Redondo (127 lb) vs. Sesustener Llanera (130 lb).
Also to be featured in the card are the Llanera twins who will be making their pro debut.
Fights between boxing teams from Tuburan and Medelllin will open the card which is presented by Naris Singwangcha Boxing Promotions, Aljoe Jaro Promotions, Int’l, Rex ‘Wakee’ Salud International Promotions, and the local government of Tuburan.
