SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES – A coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patient in Subic had infected two of his relatives, Subic Mayor Jonathan Khonghun said in a July 24 statement.

A 46-year-old woman and a 22-year-old woman tested positive for the disease three days after their family member, a 47-year old man with a travel history to Manila, contracted the disease.

This brings a total of 47 recorded cases in Zambales, with 11 of them still being treated. The province has a fatality but 35 residents afflicted with the virus have recovered and sent back to their homes. JOANNA ROSE AGLIBOT
