Hospital worker, returnee from US added to Cagayan Valley COVID-19 list

TUGUEGARAO CITY—A hospital employee and a Filipino returning from the United States to Cagayan province were added to the growing list of cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Cagayan Valley region.

The new cases are those of a 31-year-old woman in Solana town but who works at a private hospital in Santiago City and a 42-year-old man in Sta. Ana town who came home from the United States. Both were immediately placed on quarantine.

With the two new cases, the total COVID-19 tally in Cagayan Valley rose to 243 as of Thursday (July 23). The region has two fatalities.
