4 suspects arrested, 17 sachets of meth seized in CamSur, CamNorte drug busts

LEGAZPI CITY—Four drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in the two Camarines provinces–Sur and Norte—on Wednesday (July 22).

In Camarines Sur, police arrested Renenel Geroy, 28, at the village of Sabang in Naga City, according to MSgt. Tobias Bongon, city police spokesperson.

A sachet of shabu, or crystal meth, was seized from Geroy.

In the town of Nabua, also in Camarines Sur, two suspects—Manuel Padua, 43, and Bonifacio Camposano, 42—were arrested at the village of La Purisima, said Col. Roderico Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police chief.

Seized from the two suspects were 10 sachets of meth, a gun of unknown caliber and ammunition.

Padua is on the police’s drug watch list.

In Camarines Norte, suspect Rolando Rimando was arrested at the village of Calintaan in Talisay town. Seized from him were six sachets of meth.
