2 Olongapo City workers test positive for COVID-19 after attending seminar
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Two residents of Olongapo City, who attended a company seminar in Laguna, tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), raising to 18 the total number of confirmed cases there.
In a statement, Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the two men, aged 27 and 37, were asymptomatic.
In Zambales, a 27-year-old man who also traveled to Laguna between July 6 and 17 tested positive for COVID-19.
But Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, did not say if the patient also attended a company seminar along with the two workers in Olongapo City.
As of Monday, Olongapo City has three active COVID-19 cases, while Zambales recorded four new cases.
