MANILA, Philippines — Three streets in Napico, Barangay Manggahan in Pasig will be under localized enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) starting July 19 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in those areas, Mayor Vico Sotto announced on Twitter on Sunday.
The streets to be put on lockdown are Pipino, Labanos, and Okra.
Sotto assured the affected residents that he would distribute food packs as only those who have essential work and other emergencies would be allowed to go outside of their homes during the lockdown.

He said the lockdown would stay until further notice.
As of Saturday, Pasig logged 1,212 cases of the coronavirus disease with 661 recoveries and 94 death. Of the 1,212, 109 are in Barangay Manggahan.
