Suspect in hacking death of farmer arrested in Davao Sur town

DIGOS CITY—Police on Thursday (July 16) arrested a man suspected of hacking to death a farmer here.

Lt. Col. Vici Anthony Tababa, Digos City police chief said Arnold Sarcauga Feil, also known as Boboy, was the prime suspect in the killing last July 13 of Fernando D. Caminade, 41, after a heated argument.

Caminade suffered multiple hack wounds.

Feil, a resident of Sitio Matti at the village of Binaton here, fled after the killing of Caminade.

During the manhunt, Tababa said police tracked and arrested Feil at the village of Tanwalang in Sulop, a town in Davao del Sur. Tababa said police in the town helped in the arrest.

Feil was detained at the Digos City police office.
