7 more COVID-19 cases added to Pangasinan tally

CALASIAO, Pangasinan –– The provincial health office recorded seven new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the last two days, raising the total tally in Pangasinan to 134 positive cases.

Two of the fresh cases are from Calasiao town and are front-line workers, said Mayor Joseph Bauzon.

Bauzon said the 38-year-old woman from Mancup village and the 49-year-old woman from Doyong village are both asymptomatic and confined at the town’s isolation facility.

The other cases are a 38-year-old man from Barangay Concordia, Burgos town; a 28-year-old man from Barangay Bongar, Malasiqui town; a 49-year-old woman from San Carlos City; and two 35-year-old women from Dagupan City.

Pangasinan, which is on modified general community quarantine, has recorded 97 recoveries and nine fatalities. Twenty-eight others are still confined in hospitals.
