MANILA, Philippines — Passengers of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) can no longer talk to each other or answer phone calls inside its trains in a bid to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

This, in addition to minimum health protocols like wearing a face mask at all times inside the trains.

“Talking with other passengers and answering calls from your mobile devices are prohibited throughout your train journey to avoid possible droplet transmission,” the management said in a Twitter post on Friday.

Similarly, the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 and the Light Rail Transit Line 1 have already prohibited passengers aboard its trains from talking and answering phone calls.
