LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested three drug suspects in separate operations on Thursday in the provinces of Camarines Sur and Masbate.
Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol regional police spokesperson, said the drug operation netted an estimated P140,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth).
In Iriga City, Camarines Sur, police arrested at around 10:20 p.m. Pedro Jacinto, 38, a high value target (HVT), in his residence in Barangay San Agustin.
The suspect yielded eight sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams with an estimated street value of P136,000.
In Milaor town, also in Camarines Sur, police nabbed Rigor Vermas, a HVT drug pusher and resident of Barangay Sabang, Naga City.
Vermas sold shabu to undercover agents in Barangay Tarusahan, at around 8:05 p.m.
Seized from him were two sachets of shabu.
In Aroroy, Masbate, Randy Danao, 29, a small scale gold miner, was also caught selling shabu at 5:30 p.m. Seized were three sachets of shabu.
