Baseco compound fire placed under 2nd alarm

MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit the Baseco compound in Port Area, Manila, and has reached second alarm on Thursday, emergency fire dispatch TXTFire reported.

The blaze, which was said to have started at Blk 1 Gasangan, reached second alarm at 2:41 p.m.

Fire officials are currently on the scene to extinguish the fire.
