MANILA, Philippines — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake shook inland Davao del Sur on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck 14 kilometers southwest of Kiblawan, Davao del Sur, at 8:34 a.m., according to Phivolcs’ bulletin.
It was recorded at Instrumental Intensity II in Kidapawan City and Malungon, Sarangani and Instrumental Intensity I in Tupi, South Cotabato.
The earthquake, which was four kilometers deep, was tectonic in origin.
No damage or aftershocks are expected, Phivolcs said.
