P4.76-M of shabu seized from suspected drug pusher in QC
MANILA, Philippines — At least 700 grams of a crystalline substance suspected to be crystal meth, or shabu, worth P4.76 million was seized from a female suspect in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Barangay Pasong Putik, Quezon City.
Station 5 of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 5 identified the suspect as Mary Grace Marcos of Caloocan City.
The buy-bust operation was conducted on Belfast Avenue by police officers and agents from the National Capital Region office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Aside from the illegal drugs, police officers also recovered the P700,000 worth of marked money used to buy the shabu.
The suspect would face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
