Cagayan Valley has 11 new COVID-19 patients

TUGUEGARAO CITY –– Eleven new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded in Cagayan Valley on Wednesday, raising to 188 the total number of cases in the region.

Records from the Center for Health Development of the Department of Health showed that the new cases are mostly from the provinces of Isabela, Cagayan, and Nueva Vizcaya.

Among them is a 34-year-old male overseas worker from Mallig town, Isabela, who came from Dubai; a 30-year-old man from Quezon town, who came from Quebec in Canada; a 41-year-old locally stranded woman from Delfin Albano town, who arrived from Caloocan City; and a 2-year-old girl from Aurora, Isabela.

The fresh cases also include a 9-year-old boy from Lasam, Cagayan, who came from Caloocan City; a 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, both from Camalaniugan, Cagayan; a 35-year-old man in Alfonso Castañeda town, Nueva Vizcaya; and three construction workers in Iguig, Cagayan.
