MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.7 earthquake jolted Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck at 2:15 p.m. at 41 kilometers northwest of Lubang town.
The tremor was of tectonic origin and had a seven-kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks or damage was expected, Phivolcs added. [ac]
