Local oil firms raised prices of diesel by 30 centavos per liter and gasoline by 65 centavos per liter as global demand prospects firmed up despite renewed fears of the new coronavirus. The price adjusted which Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Total, Phoenix, PTT Philippines announced on Monday takes effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Also, Shell and Seaoil raised pump prices of kerosene by 40 centavos per liter. As of press time, Dubai crude was pegged at $42.79 per barrel as of July 7, jumping from $40.79 per barrel a week earlier. —Ronnel Domingo
