Pasay courts resume operations on Monday

MANILA, Philippines — Cutting short its earlier announced 14-day quarantine of all employees to just five days, the Pasay Regional Trial Court (RTC) and Metropolitan Trial Courts (MeTC) judges and staffers may now report for duty again on Monday.

In a memorandum, Executive Judges Divina Pelino and Allan Ariola said all the courts’ judges and personnel, except for RTC Branch 112 and MeTC Branch 46, can now return to work.

An employee from RTC Branch 112 was the first confirmed case in the city’s Hall of Justice on July 7, followed by another case in the MeTC Branch 46.

All courts have been disinfected and all relevant personnel have been quarantined.
