LEGAZPI CITY — Three drug suspects were arrested on Saturday in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Masbate, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol regional police spokesperson, said the drug operations resulted in the confiscation of several sachets of shabu (crystal meth).
In Aroroy, Masbate, Benjie Panganiban, 37, a shoe repair shop owner and considered a high value target by the police, was caught selling a sachet of shabu weighing one gram and worth an estimated P3,500 to an undercover agent in Barangay Ambolong, at around 11:10 p.m.
In Nabua, Camarines Sur, Rey Olleres, 42, was nabbed after selling a sachet of shabu in Barangay San Francisco at around 7:10 p.m.
In Sorsogon City, Marlon Surbano, 44, who is included in the regional drug watch list, was arrested in of Barangay Sampaloc at around 11:15 a.m.
The suspect yielded two sachets of shabu.
All arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
