MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration’s (BI) Intelligence Division has recommended the deportation of Chinese national Dong Li, who was earlier apprehended for attacking traffic enforcers and a biker in Makati City.

Melvin Mabulac, BI spokesperson, said the agency cited Dong’s immigration status and undesirability as the basis for her possible deportation.

Mabulac said Dong was here on a tourist visa and had not complied with the requirements to update her status.

Her attack on traffic enforcers was also unacceptable, he said. The attack was caught on video that went viral on social media. She was seen shouting at the enforcers and attacking one of them with an umbrella.
