Romblon records 7th COVID-19 case
PUERTO PRINCESA CITY— Romblon province recorded its seventh new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case, local health officials reported Saturday.
The Romblon Provincial Epidemiology Surveillance Unit (PESU) said in a report that the new patient was a locally stranded individual who recently returned to Cajidiocan, his hometown.
The patient was placed in isolation as the rural health unit (RHU) in his area began preparation to trace those who were in direct contact with the patient.
Meanwhile, the two health workers from San Fernando town, who were close contacts of the previously reported COVID-19 positive patients in Romblon, both tested negative for the infectious disease.
