Davao region logs 41 new COVID-19 cases
DIGOS CITY –– The Department of Health (DOH) has counted 41 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the Davao region as of Thursday, July 9.
In its July 9 update, the DOH said the new cases bring the region’s cumulative total to 689.
The new cases are recorded in Davao City (32) and Davao Oriental (9).
On Thursday, the DOH said 20 new recoveries were also recorded, three of them in Davao Oriental, two in Davao de Oro, 13 in Davao City, and two in Davao del Sur.
Of the reported 689 confirmed cases, 33 have died, 426 have recovered, and 230 remained as active cases.
At least 189 of the 230 patients are asymptomatic, 37 with mild symptoms and four are severe cases.
