TACLOBAN CITY –– No damage was reported after a 4.1 magnitude earthquake jolted Eastern Samar on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Based on Phivolcs’ bulletin, the quake occurred at 5:52 p.m. in Taft town, Eastern Samar.
The quake was felt in Taft at Intensity 3 and the nearby town of Sulat at Intensity 2.
It was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 021 kilometers.
