4 nabbed for illegal drugs in CamSur, Albay

LEGAZPI CITY — Four suspected drug pushers were arrested in separate police buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur and Albay on Tuesday.

In Camarines Sur, Jhodel Nepumoceno, 23, was arrested with a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P500 in Barangay Queborac, Bagumbayan Sur, Naga City at around 8 p.m., said Master Sgt. Tobias Bongon, spokesperson of the Naga City police.

Another suspect, Leonel Wong, 36, was also collared earlier in a separate operation in Barangay Mabolo in the same city at around 5:30 p.m.

Seized from Wong was a gram of shabu worth P6,000.

In Albay, Elisio Daygo, 54, and his son Carlo, 18, were caught selling shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Sto. Cristo at around 7:30 p.m., said Staff Sgt. Jose Glen Boquiren, police investigator in charge.

Recovered from the two were seven sachets of shabu worth P28,000.
