14 more cops infected with COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines — Fourteen more police officers were infected with COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the Philippine National Police to 815.

Of the total confirmed cases, the PNP said 390 had recovered while the death toll remained at 9 as of 6 p.m. on July 3.

Six of the new cases are from the National Capital Region, three from the Aviation Security Group, 10 from the Police Regional Office 10, two from the Special Action Force and two from the Police Regional Office 3.

The PNP said it was monitoring 731 probable coronavirus carriers while 1,265 suspects are under observation.
