MANILA, Philippines — The eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to a frontal system affecting these areas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Wednesday.
A frontal system is a weather system wherein cold and warm winds merge.
Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it added.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast to East with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
