MANILA, Philippines — The entire Southville III in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa City will be placed under a 24-hour “curfew” for 14 days due to increasing cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the community.
Barangay chairman Allen Ampaya signed Resolution 29 ordering the curfew starting July 4 to July 17, the Muntinlupa City government announced on Facebook on Friday.
“Those purchasing essential goods and working at industries allowed to operate under GCQ are exempted from the curfew,” according to the Muntinlupa City government.
All other Southville III residents are not allowed to go out of their residence, except in emergency cases, as well as those purchasing essential goods and medicines provided that they have quarantine pass, those working at establishments and industries allowed to operate under the general community quarantine by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases, and other authorized persons outside of residence under the general community quarantine, the resolution further said.
