House records 10th COVID-19 case
MANILA, Philippines — Another employee of the House of Representatives has tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales announced on Thursday.
Montales said that the congressional staff who tested positive for the virus last went to the House on May 21.
“We were advised that a Congressional staff has tested positive for COVID- 19… Let’s pray for the recovery of our three positive cases and the safety of their families,” Montales said.
The patient is the tenth COVID-19 in the House, with the ninth case confirmed on Wednesday.
As of July 2, there are 38,805 COVID-19 cases in the country, with the recoveries at 10,673 and death toll at 1,274.
