MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will have fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration.
Pagasa is currently monitoring isolated rainshowers in Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula caused by localized thunderstorms, weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said in a 4 a.m. weather forecast.
Meanwhile, the Habagat or southwest monsoon has slightly weakened but is still affecting the weather condition of the western section of northern Luzon.
“Mula ngayon hanggang Friday, July 3, inaasahan na walang mabubuong bagyo o low pressure area sa loob ng Philippine Area of Responsibility. ‘Yung Habagat o southwest monsoon ay inaasahan na hihina sa susunod na tatlong araw,” added Aurelio.
(From today until Friday, we don’t expect any low pressure area to develop within the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The southwest monsoon is expected to further weaken in the next three days.)
