Army reservist, 2 others fall in QC bust; ‘shabu’worth P6.8M seized

MANILA, Philippines — A Philippine Army reservist and two other men were arrested in a buy-bust operation at the parking lot of a Quezon City mall on Saturday.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and members of the Quezon City Police District Station 6 arrested 35-year-old Army Private 1st class Salillaguia Omar.

Also arrested during the 8:30 a.m. bust were 31-year-old Amel Abdul and 27-year-old Jonaid Londoy.

During the operation, PDEA agents also seized P6.8 million worth of “shabu”, the buy-bust money, and a Honda fit motorcycle.
