4 SEC personnel test positive for coronavirus

/ 04:05 AM June 27, 2020

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) suspended on Friday their head office operations as a precautionary measure after four workers tested positive for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The SEC shut down operations at its headquarters, located at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, from June 26 to 30 to pave the way for disinfection of the premises.

Two employees and two outsourced personnel at the SEC head office tested positive in rapid antibody tests for COVID-19, the SEC said.

The employees and outsourced personnel have been placed under strict home quarantine. They will undergo confirmatory tests. —Doris Dumlao-Abadilla
