PUERTO PRINCESA CITY—A family of three tested positive for coronavirus after returning from virus hot spot Metro Manila to Busuanga town, raising the tally of COVID-19 patients in the province of Palawan to 26.

Jonathan Dabuit, Busuanga town information officer, on Friday (June 26) said the three new cases involved stranded individuals who had travelled from Metro Manila and arrived in Coron town on June 7 aboard the June Aster, an inter-island ferry.

Dabuit said the three new patients “are all related, one family actually.”
