1,803 suspected COVID-19 carriers in Quezon ‘cleared’, ‘discharged’

LUCENA CITY –– The number of suspected coronavirus (COVID-19) carriers in Quezon province that have been cleared and discharged from hospital confinement has increased to 1,803, the Quezon public information office (QPIO) reported Friday.

In its 8 a.m. bulletin, the QPIO citing the latest data from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), disclosed that 901 individuals listed under the “suspect” category have been discharged from different hospitals in the province.

Another 902 suspects have been declared “cleared” after completion of the mandatory home quarantine period.

The list of suspects covers the period April 14 to the present, the IPHO earlier explained.

The latest record also shows that the number of suspects under hospitalization has declined to 34.

The number of suspects on home quarantine is also down to 56.

The COVID-19 suspects who have died remain at 53.

The IPHO also recorded the deaths of 19 “probable” patients from April 14 to the present.
