MANILA, Philippines – Taguig City on Thursday said it will assist the Philippine Stock Exchange in testing and contact tracing after one PSE employee tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

“The City of Taguig, through its Safe City Task Force, has been closely coordinating with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) to ensure the safety of its employees and other workers,” read the local government unit’s statement.

The city government said that it will coordinate with the national testing center in McKinley Hill for the swab testing of PSE employees.

The PSE in Bonifacio Global City was shut down for 24 hours after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 last June 24, 2020. (Jim Mendoza, trainee)
