Suspected pusher dead in Batangas shootout

SAN PEDRO CITY –– A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with the police in Tanauan City, Batangas on Tuesday night.

A report from the Calabarzon police said the buy-bust happened in Barangay Pagaspas around 8:30 p.m.

The police said after selling suspected shabu (crystal meth) to undercover policemen, Lazarito Mazo drew and fired a pistol.

Police shot back and killed Mazo instantly. They found two sachets of suspected shabu and a .38-caliber gun.
