2 slain, 1 nabbed in Albay, Camarines Sur stings

LEGAZPI CITY –– Two suspected drug pushers were killed, while two others were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Albay and Camarines Sur on Tuesday night.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said Jose Carlo San Jose and Glen Ivan Serrano were killed in a shootout in Barangay Tabon-tabon in Daraga town, Albay province at 9:10 p.m.

San Jose and Serrano were selling suspected shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover agent.

Police recovered from the crime scene a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P12,000 and two handguns of still undetermined caliber.

In Camarines Sur, Jose Orgado and Camelo Endata were caught selling shabu in Barangay GRS in Ragay town at 6:10 p.m.

The suspects yielded three sachets of shabu worth P1,500.
