Montenegro-Branzuela pair tops Sinulog darts

THE tandem of Steve Montenegro and Rodmar Branzuela emerged on top against around a hundred competitors in the Sinulog Darts fest held last Friday at the Yayoy’s Grill and Resto Bar.

Montenegro and Branzuela manned the famed Cebu City Hall Employee Darts Association (Cheda) Cebu Niños. They topped the tournament, which followed a 501 best-of-three competition.

Marlito Patunob and Roy Wenceslao finished in second place. Rounding off the top three were Val Rodriguez and Benedict Ramirez.

Yummy Rensulat  and James Canizares settled for fourth followed by Winnie Ocanada and Dodong Abano at the fifth spot.

The tournament was organized by Cheda and sponsored by Cebu City councilor Raul “Yayoy” Alcoseba. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
