3 more city bus routes to be opened on June 19 — LTFRB

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Thursday said three more bus routes will be added to accommodate more commuters traveling to their workplaces.

In a Facebook post, the LTFRB said the following bus routes will be opened on Friday, June 19:

Route 19 (North EDSA-BGC)
Route 20 (Monumento-Meycauayan)
Route 22 (Monumento-Angat)

LTFRB said the addition of new routes was in line with the government’s gradual reopening of public transportation during the less stringent general community quarantine in Metro Manila since June 1.

LTFRB also reminded operators and drivers of Public Utility Buses (PUBs) to implement health safety protocols such as the wearing face masks, disinfecting vehicles for every trip or every two hours, setting up makeshift shields inside the bus unit made from non-permeable and transparent materials, and to follow passenger seating capacity.
