The stricter coronavirus lockdown imposed over the three barangays comes after the Manila City Health Department recorded a high number of COVID-19 cases in those areas.

Specifically, authorities said Barangay 163 posted 22 COVID-19 cases, Barangay 844 logged two cases while Barangay 60 has 10 cases.

As of June 16, 1,854 individuals in the nation’s capital city were found infected with COVID-19. This number includes 110 deaths and 577 recoveries.
