Another medical worker falls to COVID-19 in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY –– Another medical worker has fallen to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the summer capital.

The 43-year-old woman is a resident of Barangay Bakakeng Norte but had been staying at the city’s QM subdivision at the time of her infection, according to the City Health Services Office on Saturday.

She works at the Pines City Doctors Hospital, which has begun disinfection procedures, as well as contact tracing of people with whom the new patient had interacted.

City epidemiologists also recorded the positive test results of a 35-year-old man who resides in Barangay San Vicente, but who hails from Basista town in Pangasinan province, according to the city public information office.
