Kalinga OFW contracts COVID-19
BAGUIO CITY –– A second Kalinga resident, who returned from work abroad, tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, the second patient to be recorded in Tabuk City.
The 51-year-old migrant worker from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates was fetched by the Tabuk government from Tuguegarao City on June 6 and was tested on June 8.
His laboratory test result was released on Thursday. The patient has been quarantined at an isolation facility of the Tabuk City Health Office.
Tabuk’s first COVID-19 patient is a 30-year-old man, who returned from Manila on June 6, according to Tabuk Mayor Darwin Estrañero when he announced this development on June 10.
