Man killed inside home in Masbate

LEGAZPI CITY – A 59-year-old man was killed by unidentified gunmen inside his house in San Jacinto town in Masbate on Tuesday night.

Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, identified the victim as Catalino Roxas of Barangay Calipat-an.

She said two gunmen barged into the house of Roxas, while he was having his dinner, and at close range, fired several shots at the victim around 7:30 p.m.

Roxas died while being rushed to a nearby hospital.
