3.8 quake in Davao del Sur tow

BANSALAN, Davao del Sur–A magnitude 3.8 quake hit Kiblawan, Davao del Sur on Tuesday evening (June 9), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the quake struck at 6:54 p.m., with epicenter located nine kilometers northwest of Kiblawan town.
It was of tectonic origin and had a depth of nine kilometers.
It was felt at Intensity 4 in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato; 1 in Koronadal City, Tupi, South Cotabato and Malungon, Sarangani province.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks and damage were expected.
