Mimaropa records its 74th COVID-19 case

CITY OF CALAPAN — The Department of Health Center for Health and Development in Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan (Mimaropa) reported the region’s 74th coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) case in a social media post on Sunday afternoon.

The new case is from Baco town in Oriental Mindoro province. The agency gave no other details on the new COVID-19 patient.

As of Sunday, Occidental Mindoro has 39 cases, Oriental Mindoro has 24, Marinduque has six, Romblon has three, and Palawan has two.

Of the 74, 36 are active cases in the region as 34 have recovered and four died.
