MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines was recognized as one of the seven countries to be a major potential destination after the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis is over, according to Forbes.

Forbes.com/Forbes Magazine said that the country, which has 7,500 islands to choose from, “has something to offer for even the most finicky of tourists.”

Forbes cited Metro Manila, known to the country’s political and economic center, as a “truly massive metropolis” which includes Manila and Quezon City, which are “two popular destinations for a deep immersion of mainstream Filipino culture.”
