MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said that the quake struck at 2:58 p.m. at 211 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos town.
The tremor was of tectonic origin and had a 129 kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks and damage were expected, Phivolcs added.
