MANILA, Philippines – With the courts back in full operation, the Supreme Court made sure that its employees will be protected from COVID-19.

Employees that form part of the high court’s skeleton staff had to go through several steps before they are allowed entry into the Supreme Court.
For one, the high court officers and employees underwent rapid testing – 1,698 personnel and five high court magistrates. Strict social distancing was observed for employees who have yet to undergo rapid testing.
Those who have been allowed to go back to the Supreme Court, they need to first use the “automated frontliner” or the multi-function disinfection chambers. They were installed in the lobby of the SC Main Building and the SC Centennial Building.
