Bicol’s 75th COVID-19 patient another health care worker

LEGAZPI CITY—A 23-year-old radiologic technologist in Tigaon town in Camarines Sur province tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Monday (June 1), according to the Department of Health (DOH) in Bicol.

Bicol, which is now under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ), has 75 known cases of COVID-19 since March 27.

The technologist was the first to test positive at the Bicol Medical Center’s (BMC) testing center.

The male patient, branded as Bicol#75, had no symptoms when he was tested, the DOH said.
